New attemp to recreate the Koeblitzer Mountain route into Dutch style and lay-out
Since last period Steamtrains Unlimited ahs set up a new attempt of recreating the Koeblitzer Bergland route into Dutch Style and lay-out.
Many features and assets has added since the last month and over 500 hours now are spend to recreate this route into a Southern Limburg like scenery and route. However the route between Koblitz West, Wildaus and Hosven is still far from the final touch but is achieving a much greater goal than the old version. Trying to aim the recreation of the famous “Million Line” the “diesel”-isation did establish all over the line.
New items:

All catenary has been removed between Koblitz West and Wildau.
Though the track rules didn’t change. -
At least three different types of former Dutch signals are added.

Every station is almost newly recreated with a new or extended track lay-out.

Wildau depot is completely overhauled and has become a Museum Steam depot with all features a steam depot needs.

Most stations ahs received new Dutch names.

Vegetation has been modified

Some floral locations does look like the “Veluwe’ with forest pools and typical “Veluwe” forest floor.

Most stations received minimal one loop and branch line connections.

Most stations and road lay-out are renewed with Dutch roads.

A new station has been added at the museum line just outside Widau towards Hosven called Wildowshire and is a British museum village with a transport museum.

Some roads are redesigned using the freeware roads available on Treinpunt.

According to the Nene Valley Railway containing continental trains but in reverse British trains are running between Wildau and Hosven servicing Wildowshire.

Recreating Koeblitzer Mountain route into Dutch style and lay-out.
The Koeblitzer Mountain Route is a fictional route that is based on the area of Trier and the Eifel mountains. Never the less this area is quite close to the Limburg area. This creates opportunities to recreate the line Hosven – Wildau – Atlenbeken into a real Dutch style railway line.
Steamtrains Unlimited tried now to recreate the line as mentioned into a part of museum line and a part of regular traffic service. In the past there was a recreation of this line but due to a major crahs during construction the projhect came to an hold. The recreation means the replacement of signals according to Dutch signals and repalcement of catenary later on. Enjoy some screenshots here:
